Mundie Moms 7th Birthday Bash Celebration

Hello and welcome to our 7th Mundie Moms Birthday Bash Celebration! I can't believe today marks our 7th year of blogging. What an incredible 7 years it's been. I don't even know where the last 7 years has gone. During that time we've read and promoted so many books and in the process we've enjoyed sharing our love of reading with you. Over the last 7 years we have met so many incredible people, have been able to do some incredible things, attended and have moderated a lot of fabulous author/book events, been invited to be apart of really cool events like visit the movie set for The Mortal Instruments, as well as attend the red carpet premiere, have helped with some really awesome book events, have read so many fabulous books, been apart of some pretty awesome bookish events/cover reveals/blog tours, and have met so many life long friends. We have been really blessed to be able to do all we have, while sharing our passion for books.

THANK YOU to the publicists, and authors who took a chance on us when I reached out to you over 7 years ago. I feel so blessed to call so many of you friends. Thank you for support of Mundie Moms / Mundie Kids. Especially Cassandra Clare, whom took the time to visit with me when I reached out to her in 2008 and told her that I wanted to start up a fansite for her books (back then there were only a few of us fansites). I can't believe we're celebrating 7 years of loving her Shadowhunters. Thank you to the numerous authors and publicists I've worked with since then. We've loved being apart of the blog tours, cover reveals, book promotional posts, and sharing our love, and sometimes disappoints of the books you've shared with us. I love that you get the all caps, and my over use of explanation points when I email you my reviews for books I loved, and you understand my disappointments when I share my reviews for books that I didn't love.

Thank you to all the authors who have written books that have fueled our love of reading even more so. You have made us laugh, cry, swoon, and occasionally want to throw your book across the room. You've given us characters we have loved, and ones we have loved to hate. We have loved the stories you've shared with us, the adventures you've taken us on, and the longing you've made us feel long after we finished reading your book. You have given us stories that have made us feel every range of emotion, and while we may think you're evil for the cliff hanger endings you write, we love the stories we've connected us with, and the connections and friendships we've made because of your books.

THANK YOU to all of our readers. We love you guys! We love that we are not alone in our book buying problems habits, and we have this amazing group of YA readers who understand the late night crying over fictional characters, and the lack of sleep from staying up all night to finish the book you just can't put down. We have loved connecting with you online, and meeting you in person at book events and author signings. We love that you get our love of reading. We've loved fangirling/fanboying with you over our favorite fictional characters. We love that through a love of reading, we've been able to not only chat about books, but about life and everything in between. THANK YOU for all the time you've taken to visit our blogs, to leave us comments, to read our thoughts on books, movies, the Shadowhunters show, and anything else we post about. Thank you for sharing our love of what we promote here on Mundie Moms. We appreciate each of you!

Our past 7 years wouldn't be possible with out each of you. As a small token of our appreciation for each of you, we have a few giveaways. What's a party without presents, right? Since books make the best gifts, we have a few of those to giveaway. I'm really excited about each of these gifts, especially the first one!
